“Techne” is a term, etymologically derived from the Greek word τέχνη, that is often translated as “craftsmanship”, “craft”, or “art”.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1402″ img_link_target=”_self”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1405″ img_link_target=”_self” alignment=”right”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_single_image image=”1420″ img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”700″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Installation should be the most appropriate word for ‘Not-So-Futile’ – but to install suggests that the piece was placed in the room after the exhibition space was constructed.
The piece evolved from its antecedent (‘Hyperslow’) and has grown organically ever since.
